Feedback on Winter

There is nothing about the use of winter sand or the difficulties of LID where sand is used.

What about winter sanding? Lots of areas use sand and snow packed roads instead of salt for winter maintenance, this would make many LID techniques / technologies ineffective for stormwater generated from the road after the first winter.
